Jackie Miron has been teaching voice and piano lessons to children, teens, and adults for over 25 years, and specializes in musical theater, pop, opera, and audition techniques. She graduated from the Manhattan School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in voice performance with a minor in piano and also studied acting at the HB Studio and the Stella Adler Studio. She has performed professionally in New York in opera, cabaret and musical theater, as well as in numerous commercials and jingles. Jackie’s studio is based in Roswell, Georgia and she teaches both online and in person. She has taught in public and private schools, directed school musicals, and has developed a preschool music program. She loves to see her students develop into fine performers, loving music as much as she does.
A Holistic Approach to Singing
Jackie’s lessons involve the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. Excellent vocal technique can be enhanced by a body that breathes and moves efficiently. Lessons encourage good posture, proper breath control and breathing techniques. Healthy vocal exercises are always incorporated through proper relaxation, warm-ups, and a variety of musical styles.
